The Broad Meadow Bed & Breakfast
Serene and Private in West Tisbury on Martha's Vineyard

We are now entering our 13th Season – 2023!

Welcome to The Broad Meadow Bed & Breakfast.

2023 is the 13th season of our B&B, which is unique to Martha’s Vineyard. Thanks to the reviews from guests who stayed with us the past twelve years (many of whom return), we are booking rapidly for the coming summer and urge you to make your reservations soon for the Broad Meadow and come enjoy all that Martha’s Vineyard has to offer! If you do not find the information you are seeking on this site, feel free to contact us at any time using the e-mail address or call us.

SPECIAL SPRING OFFER: FROM NOW THROUGH JUNE 15TH, THE MINIMUM STAY CAN BE TWO NIGHTS. FOR GUESTS WHO STAY A THIRD NIGHT DURING THAT TIME, WE ARE OFFERING A 30% DISCOUNT ON NIGHT THREE!

Given the times we are in, I do ask that guests be fully vaccinated and boosted and I have set a minimum stay of three nights for high season, June 16-Sept 30th.  I do welcome children but would like assurances that they too are vaccinated.  Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information on my very welcoming and unique year round Island inn.

The Broad Meadow is a unique one room, year round B&B with private bath, set on four and a half acres on Elias Lane, a private road.  Located in West Tisbury, our offerings include a pass to the popular and private Lambert’s Cove Beach on Vineyard Sound, as well as a parking pass to Long Point Beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

Enter through a sky blue door into a spacious and airy room which is very much one’s own, as it is on the first floor of a large studio, apart from the owners’ antique cape style house.

A queen size bed sleeps two.  A double futon is ensconced in a charming alcove, for quiet sitting. (I have a bright and cheery space just upstairs from the main B&B room where children enjoy sleeping.  Two futons in this room can take up to three children and offers more more privacy for the entire family.)

An extensive continental breakfast, which includes the host’s locally famous home made breads, will be left early each morning in an ante-room, just inside the front door of the studio, so that guests can eat in privacy at a time of their choosing, either at an antique drop leaf table by the bright windows of the room, or at a hand made picnic table on the grass, near a wild cherry tree, watching birds, the light on the meadow, and the wide open sky.

Open the  back door to a lovely lawn, facing a broad open meadow spotted with cedars, pines, daisies and butterfly weed.

Watch for horses grazing in the distance…

A beautiful, idyllic retreat
This beautiful setting truly made my visit feel like a retreat. SO peaceful. It’s the perfect place to relax & to come back to after a day out and about. Marjory is a lovey hostess (and her fresh bread is so good!) Would absolutely come back.
